 We are happy to offer commemorative services on the occasions below. Please check our Calendar and Announcements pages for exact times.

 

Attendees traditionally bring a flower offering and an optional donation in an envelope to these services.

 

      January 5      Paramahansa Yogananda Birthday           

      January 11     Paramahansa Yogananda Commemoration Meditation, 10:00 am to 4:00 pm 

     March 7        Paramahansa Yogananda Mahasamadhi             

Mahasamadhi signifies the final, conscious exit from the body of a Self-realized saint.

     March 9        Sri Yukteswar Mahasamadhi    

                 

     May 10          Sri Yukteswar Birthday

     July 25          Mahavatar Babaji Commemoration Day             

    August 16      Janmashtami - Bhagavan Krishna Commemoration Day * 

    Sept 26          Lahiri Mahasaya Mahasamadhi

    Sept 30          Lahiri Mahasaya Birthday  (NOTE: A combined Mahasamadhi and Birthday Commemorative Service                  will be held Sunday September 28 at 11:00 a.m. in place of the Sunday Inspirational Service.)
